(pre) Easter Sabbath

This was another great day. We had church this morning. Tomorrow is Easter, so it was the Easter service at church today. Kathy and Dad Larsen and I spoke, and our children sang. It was a great spirit, a great experience. So wonderful to worship the Savior on this great day and in this great place. Afterwards we had a nice little potluck meal with the branch. There were 12 of us, and there were 12 of them. It was a wonderful time together, with such incredible and wonderful saints.
When that was done we went to Capernaum. I love that place and it was wonderful to be there together. We went through all the amazing things that happened there. It is one of the most amazing places in the world. I love to talk the Savior’s life there. I love to walk through the day recorded in Matthew 9 there. It is the most amazing of places. Outside of Gethsemane and Calvary it has to be one of the most holy places on earth.
From there we went to Tabgha, but it had just barely closed. We went to St. Peter’s primacy. Then we went to the Mt. of Beattitudes, but it was also closed. So we hiked around it a little bit, and talked about it there and spent some time there. We did a few other things, and went back to pack up and get ready to go home tomorrow. It was a deeply spiritual day.
